Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care

Medical City Children's is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care team. Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• Texas license or ability to obtain one
• Prefer dual certification for both primary and acute care pediatric nurse practitioner to function independently in a high acuity, fast paced pediatric cardiac intensive care unit caring for patients with congenital heart disease including both pre-surgical and post-surgical patients, acquired heart disease, and post-surgical adult congenital heart disease
• Must be flexible to work a schedule that includes approximately 50% night shifts as part of the role's coverage requirements.
• Required basic life support (BLS) certified
• Required pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certified
• Preferred adult cardiac life support (ACLS) certified
• Cardiac experience preferred, but not required
