Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

Our customers look to us to create a serene and engaging environment for their residents and guests. This role primarily services aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position requiring basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and other physical demands are involved. This is a part-time position. Work is typically during business hours of 8am to 7pm, but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month and average around 10-15 hours per month, depending on account needs. Travel and Location Travel within a 150 mile radius of Amarillo, TX is required. Current farthest account: Farwell, TX (96 miles) Cities include: Friona, TX; Farwell, TX; Dumas, TX; Dimmitt, TX Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving; hourly wage is not paid during driving Masking/goggles may be required due to work in long-term care homes Storing 50 lb bags of bedding and seed plus 4–5 27 gallon totes of supplies is required Major Position Responsibilities Well organized and possess excellent time management skills Professional appearance with excellent communication skills Effectively communicate company products and services Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Inner drive and desire to exceed goals Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs Able to make an efficient work schedule Manage service cycle for customer base Required education, skills, abilities, and experience Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Great attitude and willingness to learn Ability to continually adjust priorities to match business needs Strong work ethic with punctuality and good attendance Ability to communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; able to read and write in English Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude Willingness to be flexible with schedule and responsibilities Able to travel within the service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering required Flexibility is a must High School education preferred Driver’s License required Job Details Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10-15 hours per month Shift: Day shift #J-18808-Ljbffr ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC
