This position will allow working in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results while building solid relationships with technologists and the Business community.As Senior Business Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to support and enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape. This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule.Coordinates integration testing validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training and obtains signoffs.Coordinates defects clarification, triage, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.Performs Mock close on financial systems.Project ManagementManages small to medium application releases and projects.Manages stakeholder expectations.Design release scope and schedule in line with a business goal, prioritization, and IT capacityWork with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix.System ConfigurationsConfigures applications in line with business goals.Designs forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap.Develops configuration standards.Day to Day Support (Production Support)Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices.Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through the resolution.Identifies improvements to address repeat issues.Training and Change ManagementWorks with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities.Defines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plansAnalyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve.Provides Adhoc training to various financial users on key financial applications.Vendor ManagementManages/leads individual consulting resources as assigned.Participates in vendor advisory boards and user groups.Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations, and software acquisitions.Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendationsMinimum QualificationsExtensive experience in Oracle Cloud GL with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP.Have in-depth finance and accounting functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into functional and configurable solutions.Worked as Systems Analyst or Support Analyst for Oracle fusion ERP application modules.Hands-on experience in designing and configuring ERP application implementation and maintenance.Worked in a couple of other Oracle fusion EPM application modules like BPCS, EDMCS, TRCS, ARCS, and PCMCSWorked on the other ERP sub-ledger modules like AP, AR, CM, PPM, and AGIS.Deep understanding or the end-to-end accounting transactions from sub-ledgers to GL.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.6 to 10 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a large multinational company.Strong written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesWillingness to travel occasionally if needed.Preference to Accounting, computer science or mathematics related fields of study.
