Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Northern Michigan

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Northern Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time contract position with every other weekend requirement. On-call availability may be required. Shift incentives do not apply to contract positions.

Highlights:

• Provide critical care to unstable, complex patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Manage life-support equipment including ventilators and interpret vital signs continuously
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to deliver advanced patient care
• Titrate complex IV drips and perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments
• Float to similar units as needed to support patient care across the facility
• Skills checklist required and must be completed within one year of application

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated ICU experience (floating experience does not qualify)
• EKG interpretation experience required
• Willingness to float to similar units within the facility
• Preferred experience: Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, ventilator management, CRRT, and balloon pumps
• Completed skills checklist within one year of application

Any missed shifts must be made up within the contract timeframe.
