Careers At Bath County Community Hospital Title: Registered Nurse II (RN II) Department: Rural Health Clinics (RHC) Hot Springs Reports to: Clinic Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $37.10 - $44.50 Per Hour Position Summary The Registered Nurse II (RN II) independently delivers patient care across clinic settings and demonstrates competency in both primary care and walk-in/urgent care environments. Essential Functions Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments Monitor patient condition and report changes Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up Document care accurately in the electronic health record Administer vaccines and injections Support clinic flow and operations Collaborate with care team members Travel between clinic locations as needed Perform other duties as assigned Position Standards Performs all duties independently and consistently Competent in PCP and walk-in/urgent care workflows Demonstrates strong clinical judgment Supports patient flow and care coordination Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program Experience: Demonstrated competency in RN role Licensure/Certifications: Active Virginia RN license (required) BLS certification (required) Independent clinical performance Organization and efficiency Strong communication Accountability Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity for clinical tasks Visual acuity including close and distance vision Working Conditions Clinical outpatient setting Exposure to bodily fluids and infectious diseases; PPE required Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Travel between clinic locations required Occasional schedule adjustments based on clinic needs Additional Information Bath Community Hospital reserves the right to modify job responsibilities as needed to support organizational needs.
