We partner with patients and specialty pharmacies to deliver high-quality infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes.As we continue to expand throughout Pennsylvania, we are seeking experienced Home Infusion RNs who are passionate about patient care and interested in helping develop and support our growing nursing team.In this role, you will provide direct infusion care to patients while serving as a clinical resource for nurses who are new to home infusion or CureCare. You may have opportunities to precept nurses, support clinical onboarding, share best practices, and help ensure our nurses feel confident delivering safe, high-quality care.This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with mentorship while maintaining the flexibility of a per diem role.Position OverviewLocation: PennsylvaniaPosition Type: Per DiemHourly Pay: Based on experienceAvailability Requirement: Minimum of 20 hours per monthScheduling: Flexible, based on patient referrals and geographic availabilityThis position requires you to build your patient caseload as referrals become available. Hours are not guaranteed, and the ability to accept patient referrals and travel within your service area is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient Care & Infusion Therapy- Provide safe, high-quality infusion therapy and skilled nursing services in patients' homes.- Establish rapport with patients and caregivers while providing education, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring.- Establish and maintain vascular access devices as prescribed, including peripheral IV insertion.- Administer prescribed infusion medications and monitor for adverse reactions or side effects.- Assess patients' clinical status and appropriateness for home infusion services.Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.- Communicate changes in patient condition, treatment response, and clinical concerns to the appropriate clinical team.- Follow established clinical protocols, medication orders, and patient safety standards.Clinical Mentorship & Preceptorship- Serve as a clinical resource for nurses entering home infusion or joining the CureCare nursing team.- Precept and support new nurses during orientation, field training, and clinical onboarding as needed.- Demonstrate best practices in infusion administration, vascular access, patient assessment, documentation, and home safety.- Share clinical knowledge and practical experience to help nurses build confidence and competence in the home infusion setting.- Reinforce CureCare's clinical standards, policies, and expectations for patient-centered care.- Communicate observations, feedback, and training needs to CureCare's Clinical Leadership team.- Help foster a supportive clinical culture focused on collaboration, professional development, and quality patient care.Why Join CureCare?At CureCare, you can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while enjoying the flexibility and independence of home infusion nursing.Flexible Scheduling: Accept referrals based on your availability and service area.Meaningful Patient Relationships: Provide individualized care in the comfort of patients' homes.Clinical Leadership Opportunities: Share your expertise by mentoring and precepting fellow nurses.Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement based on the applicable IRS standard mileage rate.Digital Documentation: Convenient electronic nursing documentation.Nursing Supplies Delivered: Infusion materials delivered directly to patients' homes.Referral Incentives: Participate in our nurse referral program.Clinical & Corporate Support: Work independently in the field while remaining connected to CureCare's Clinical and Corporate teams.Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.- Minimum of 2 years of direct home infusion nursing experience.- Demonstrated experience administering infusion therapies, including IVIG, biologics, or other specialty medications.- Strong peripheral IV insertion and vascular access skills.- Experience working independently in patients' homes and managing patient care safely.- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.- Proficiency with electronic medical records and electronic clinical documentation.- Current CPR certification.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours of availability per month.- Willingness to mentor, precept, and support the clinical development of other nurses.- Previous precepting, training, or mentoring experience preferred.Help Us Grow in PennsylvaniaAt CureCare, experienced nurses play an important role in delivering excellent patient care and supporting the nurses who join our team.If you are an experienced Home Infusion RN who enjoys sharing your knowledge, supporting fellow nurses, and making a difference in patients' lives, we would love to hear from you.Join CureCare and help us grow a strong, confident, and compassionate home infusion nursing team throughout Pennsylvania.Apply today!
