Arborist Climber

Pay: $16–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:55 AM–4:00 PM
Additional Hours: Occasional Saturday work
Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Arborist Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of tree-climbing experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with coworkers and customers, and is committed to working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Safely climb trees using proper climbing techniques and equipment
Perform tree pruning, removals, and other arboricultural work as directed
Follow proper pruning practices and industry standards
Work safely around power lines, structures, equipment, and other job-site hazards
Work effectively as part of a ground and climbing crew
Communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors
Maintain and properly care for climbing equipment, tools, and company vehicles
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Arrive at the company yard on time and be prepared for the day's work
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Minimum 1 year of tree-climbing experience
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable transportation and ability to consistently arrive at the company yard by the scheduled start time
Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

Experience driving work trucks and trailers
CDL Class A license
Formal education or training in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, or a related field
Four-year degree in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, or a related field
Experience performing professional tree pruning
Knowledge of proper tree-pruning techniques and industry standards
Experience identifying tree species, defects, and common tree health issues
Experience operating arboricultural equipment
