Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Join a busy outpatient clinic in Atlanta, GA as a Physical Therapist. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional goals that support return to community activities. You will document care in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and provide education to patients, families, students, and colleagues. Maintain professional licensure and follow state practice act requirements. Adhere to clinic safety procedures, participate in performance improvement activities, and support a culture of patient and employee safety. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy delivering evaluations, developing treatment plans, and progressing patients toward discharge. Documentation experience including goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide appropriate student supervision when assigned. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a high-volume outpatient setting. Experience with performance improvement initiatives and quality measurement. Previous involvement in student education or clinical mentorship.
