IT Systems Analyst

Talascend is currently seeking an IT Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Washington, District Of Columbia.

Overview


This role involves working with information systems design, development, and analysis, encompassing technical expertise in programming, software development, and systems integration. The analyst will perform moderately complex assignments, contributing to project success and providing technical support within the organization.


Responsibilities

• Analyze and design information systems to meet business needs
• Develop, test, and implement software applications and system integration solutions
• Participate in system troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Train and mentor junior staff as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of technical training or experience in information systems
• Experience in programming, PC application analysis, or related disciplines
• Ability to handle moderate complexity tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
