Adult Mental Health (AMH) Outpatient Clinic LVN

Job Summary

The  Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) manages daily clinic  medication protocols under the direction of the Medical Director. This role focuses on medication logistics, patient assistance administration, and outpatient clinical nursing support within a trauma-informed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage medication inventory by ordering, receiving, logging, and storing daily supplies.
• Prepare client medications for daily delivery during scheduled clinic provider appointments.
• Administer the Patient Assistance Program (PAP ) by managing signatures, applications, and follow-ups.
• Provide telemedicine support by gathering patient vital signs and organizing consent documentation.
• Educate clinic patients about medications and address medical inquiries via the nurse call line.
• Maintain exam rooms by cleaning clinical spaces between appointments and shifts.
• Dispose of unusable stock by identifying, inventorying, and processing expired medications.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program.
• Active Texas LVN license in good standing.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with an insurable driving record.
• Required active certifications in PMAB, CPR/First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
• Prior mental health experience is highly preferred.

SHIFT

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. and on-call.
