Now Hiring: Shop Coordinator - Hempstead, TX
(Service Operations | Customer Support | Shop Scheduling)

Mustang Cat is actively seeking a Shop Coordinator to support the Machinery Service Department in Hempstead, Texas . In this role, you will assist the Service Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring timely and efficient equipment service, customer communication, and repair coordination.

What You'll Do as a Shop Coordinator:

• Support shop scheduling and coordinate repairs between teams
• Review invoices for accuracy and process warranty documentation
• Monitor production and efficiency , reporting key metrics
• Manage equipment inventory and assist with shipping & receiving
• Enforce safety and contamination control practices
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders
• Communicate effectively with technicians, Product Support Sales Reps, and customers
• Step in for the Service Supervisor during absences and assist with delegated tasks

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of dispatching or coordination experience in a service or repair-related industry
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills , including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communication across phone, email, and in-person interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude or background in equipment repair/service
• Spanish speaking skills are a strong plus
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment , service scheduling systems, or CRM platforms is beneficial
