As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Rialto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming experience. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and communicate with store leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and high-traffic activity during busy business hours, special events, and/or closing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
