Medical Laboratory Technician

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the team at in Farmington Hills, MI 48336 . Job Summary The Medical Technologist/MLT performs clinical laboratory testing, analyzes specimens, reviews results, maintains quality standards, and ensures accurate and timely reporting in accordance with laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Process and analyze patient specimens using approved laboratory procedures. Review, verify, and release accurate test results. Perform and document QC, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions . Identify testing issues and troubleshoot or escalat Report STAT and critical results according to department procedures. Maintain accurate testing records, reagent logs, and documentation. Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety requirements. Participate in proficiency testing, training, and continuing education. Maintain equipment, supplies, reagents, and department readiness. Assist with regulatory inspections and other laboratory projects. Protect patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments. Required Qualifications ASCP or AMT certification required. Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory QA/QC procedures . Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and handle a fast-paced laboratory environment. Strong computer skills and ability to work with multiple laboratory systems. Additional Information: Location: Farmington Hills, MI 48336 Shift: Evening shift: 10:30 PM -7:00 AM | Monday - Friday Schedule: 40 hours per week (5x8 shifts) Travel Gross Pay: $2200 - $2320/Week *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
