The Bulldozer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bulldozers to perform grading, earthmoving, and site preparation while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. Core CompetenciesEffective communication skills; able to understand and speak English.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.Attention to detail.Dependable, professional, and adaptable to changing priorities.Essential DutiesSafely operate CAT D5–D8 bulldozers for grading and earthmoving operations.Follow grade stakes, GPS systems, and supervisor directions to achieve required grades.Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.Identify and report or correct safety hazards.Attend daily safety and project meetings.Assist in locating underground utilities to prevent damage.Mentor team members on safe and proper equipment operation.Restore work areas upon project completion.Report planned absences to the Foreman with adequate notice.Work overtime or extended hours as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.  Education/Training/Certification: OSHA Safety TrainingBenefits: At the heart of Sanford Contractors Inc. core principles, is the commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of our team members.
