We have highlighted multiple times over email and through the Spotlight channel the difference between MS SQL Server and MySQL/PostgreSQL profiles. However, we continue to receive profiles that do not align with the requirement, resulting in significant effort being spent on screening and validating candidates.

For clarity:

• The requirement is for a MySQL DBA with hands-on administration experience.
• MySQL and PostgreSQL are open-source database platforms and are primarily administered on Red Hat/Linux environments .
• Experience on MS SQL Server is not equivalent to MySQL/PostgreSQL administration and should not be considered a direct skill match.

Additionally, several candidates are not responding to calls or are unavailable for evaluation of discussions, which is consuming valuable time of our key resources and delaying the fulfillment of this critical position.

Given the current trend, I am concerned about how we will be able to fulfill these positions within the expected timelines. I request the team to please validate profiles thoroughly before submission and ensure that candidates have:

• Hands-on MySQL/Postgresql DBA experience.
• Linux/Red Hat administration exposure.
• Relevant operational and troubleshooting experience.
• Availability and willingness to participate in evaluations including f2f.
