Key Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts.
• Manage an average of 2 to 5 consultations daily.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy procedures.
• Conduct esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy.
• Insert and manage Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes.
• Anticipate ongoing coverage needs.
