Key Responsibilities: Develop and establish the new Internal Medicine department, including protocols and procedures. Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions in a diverse caseload. Collaborate with our team of specialists and emergency veterinarians to deliver comprehensive care. Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care. Participate in continuing education and stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Lead and participate in ongoing training and development for the surgical team. Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence in patient care. Qualifications: DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school. Board certification in Internal Medicine (or board-eligible) preferred. Strong clinical skills and experience in a specialty or emergency setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Innovative mindset with strong analytical skills to assess complex cases and develop innovative treatment options including new technologies or procedures that enhance patient care.
