Job Description
Radiologic Technologist

Schedule

8-hour shifts, including days and weekends. Shifts may include: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Guaranteed Hours: 32 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in computer systems including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures on patients as directed by healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during imaging procedures.
• Assist in maintaining and operating imaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient imaging and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide information to patients regarding procedures to enhance their understanding and comfort.
