CNC Machinist

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire CNC Machinist opportunity with a growing heavy fabrication manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area.
This CNC Machinist role focuses on setting up and operating horizontal boring mills to produce precision-machined components to engineered specifications.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities
-Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to machine metal components
-Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job
-Perform tool changes and make machine adjustments to maintain precision
-Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
-Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and output
-Support additional duties as assigned

CNC Machinist Qualifications
-Technical degree in CNC machining or related field preferred
-Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-Ability to use precision measuring tools and convert measurements into decimals
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
