Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and guests.Line Cook Job Responsibilities and DutiesWorks closely with Executive Chef and Sous Chef in the planning, preparation and execution of food itemsSets up and stocks food items in preparation of daily food servicePrepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing soups and saucesCooks' food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standardsAbility to follow all sanitation guidelines and guidelines for safe handling of foodHelp maintain an orderly, clean kitchen, eating and service areas, storage and cooler/freezer facilities, including condiment, soup, salad, pizza stations and the dish drop off areaPerform daily cleaningAssists Executive Chef or Chef on Duty with whatever is requiredLine Cook Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredOne to two years' experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cookMust be current with Food Handlers' certificationBasic knife skills and food identificationWorks well in a fast-paced, high-stress environmentGreat communication and coordination skillsFlexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends and holidaysA friendly, polite, and courteous natureTeam playerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
