Freelance Senior Experience Designer

The Freelance Sr Experience Designer combines technology with creativity to create for a wide range of media including screens, goggles, wearables, and other emergent channels. The Freelance Sr Experience Designer is adept at utilizing digital design tools and software to create a range of user-centered and impactful experiences for our audiences. They are responsible for designing complete digital experiences which include graphic elements, navigation components, interface elements, featured content—while ensuring that the user delights in exploring that creation. To be successful in this role, the Freelance Sr Experience Designer must have experience with design software and modern digital design tools including animation and prototyping tools for digital creation. 

• Design digital experiences that align with campaigns targeting healthcare professionals and patient/consumer audiences 
• Submit work for review by creative lead and manage revisions through necessary stages of assigned projects 
• Creating design concepts, prototypes, and animations to communicate your interactive design solutions 
• Have skills in presenting digital creative work, with the ability to explain the “big idea” to team members 
• Work in tandem with UX, developers, and copy to ensure solutions are seamless for execution and copy is on point for development 
• Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experience designs for multiple platforms (web and mobile, VR/AR, and beyond). 
• Work with teams to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations. 
• Communicate designs – Create meaningful experience design deliverables such as digital design concepts, prototypes, animations of interactions, and final presentations that help the team understand what to build and why. 
• Ability to build and maintain component libraries in XD, Sketch, Figma 
• Creates design solutions for digital executions – ability to understand and utilize brand hallmarks, identity development, typography, design theory, etc. 

Qualification Requirements : 

• 4+ years’ experience in digital design, experience design 
• Knowledge of digital design tools including the Adobe Software Suite, XD, Sketch, Figma is a priority, digitally-native animation programs (such as Principle, Spline, Lottie, FigJam, etc.) 
• Ability to design for 3D – three.js, etc. 
• Knowledge of Unity is a bonus 

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $65 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
