About the Role

The Company is in search of a Special Counsel for Civil Litigation to join their esteemed practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, from inception to resolution, in a variety of sophisticated litigation matters. This includes conducting substantive discovery, depositions, and legal research, as well as developing and implementing winning case strategies. The role also involves drafting persuasive motions and briefs, and representing clients in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' of litigation experience, with a preference for those with a background in insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, or construction defect cases. Exceptional research and writing skills, a strong courtroom presence, and a South Carolina bar membership are essential.
