Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC)

• Manage patient care for open heart and vascular surgery populations
• Conduct telemetry and stepdown patient care
• Oversee chest tube and epidural management
• Implement cardiac gtt management (e.g., phenylephrine, dobutamine)
• Perform IV gluccomander tasks
• Administer tube feedings

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC)

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Stepdown and telemetry experience
• Prior experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations
