We would love to hear from you whether you have no experience or have done caregiving before. We match your skill level! Senior Helpers will also help provide you with the ability to grow professionally within the care industry by providing learning opportunities and experience. We serve the greater Chicagoland area, so we serve a variety of clients to match you with! We have available shifts now for weekdays, weekends, flex care with our facilities, day shifts, evening shifts, and overnights.

Qualifications:

• You must be at least 18 years old (required)
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred, but we are proud to offer you on-the-job training
• Ability to be reliable, empathetic, and flexible (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and adapt (preferred)
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• With a negative Tuberculosis Test

Responsibilities:

• Assist your client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned, including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, personal care, and physical and emotional support
• Build a positive relationship with your client by taking part in engaging conversations and participating in your client’s favorite hobbies
• Be able to perform light housekeeping, cook, and run errands as needed
• Provide individualized care as detailed in a care plan
• Have the ability to remain calm and collected during emergencies
• Be able to communicate with the office regarding any client changes to the office
