Aide - SpEd One to One

Position Type: Support Staff/Aide - One to One Date Posted: 5/22/2026 Location: Hutto High School Additional Information: Show/Hide Primary Purpose: Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Provides supervision and support for students with serious emotional and behavioral problems or cognitive impairments. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher. The candidate selected will be assigned to an individual student. The position may no longer exist if the student moves out of the district. This position is for a paraprofessional working one-to-one with an individual student. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Valid Texas educational aide certificate or willing to obtain certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work with children with disabilities Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of general office equipment SAMA certification (or able to obtain after hire) Experience: Two years' experience working with children Hutto ISD Talent Management & Personnel Support Hutto ISD Pay Scales & Start Stop Calendar
