Middle Office Analyst - Loan Operations (Deal Closing & Monitoring)

Overview This role sits within Middle Office Operations and focuses on the closing, booking, and ongoing monitoring of loan facilities . The analyst works closely with Front Office, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure deals are correctly executed, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle. Core Responsibilities Deal Closing & Booking Support deal closing activities from pre-closing to funding Review credit agreements and ensure alignment with credit approvals Ensure all conditions precedent (CPs) are satisfied before funding Coordinate with booking teams to ensure accurate setup in Loan IQ Validate deal documentation and booking inputs Deal Lifecycle Management Monitor deals from closing through maturity/termination Manage lifecycle events: amendments, waivers, restructurings Ensure proper booking and tracking of all deal changes Covenants & Collateral Monitoring Set up and maintain covenants and collateral in Loan IQ Monitor borrower compliance (financial & reporting covenants) Track collateral values and ensure regular updates Escalate breaches or delays to Front Office and Risk Funding & Payments Support funding processes and ensure proper approvals Perform reconciliations and track cash movements Monitor repayments in line with facility terms Client & Internal Coordination Act as a key contact for clients regarding loan operations Liaise daily with Front Office, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations Coordinate with external service providers (BPO) Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements Identify and elevate operational risks Maintain strong control framework across all activities Profile Experience 5+ years in Loan Operations / Middle Office / Lending Support Strong exposure to structured finance, corporate lending, or asset financing Skills Strong knowledge of loan lifecycle and credit processes Hands-on experience with Loan IQ (key requirement) Good understanding of financial statements and covenants Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset Ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment Education Degree in Finance, Business, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr QUANTEAM - North America (RAINBOW PARTNERS Group)
