AAI is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Truck Driver to support our construction, demolition and environmental projects. This role is responsible for transporting equipment, materials and debris between project sites and approved disposal or storage locations. The ideal candidate takes pride in safe driving, reliable service, clear communication and keeping company equipment clean and job ready.

This is a hands-on role for someone who works well with field teams, adapts to changing schedules and jobsite conditions and is willing to support yard, shop or jobsite operations when not actively completing pickups or deliveries.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate company-owned commercial trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, jobsite requirements and AAI safety policies.
• Transport equipment, materials and demolition debris to and from project sites, disposal facilities and storage locations.
• Complete required pre-trip, post-trip and daily vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify that loads are properly distributed and secured and comply with applicable weight and transportation requirements.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while providing timely updates regarding delays, changing site conditions and delivery status.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, tickets, receipts, timesheets and other required documentation.
• Keep assigned trucks clean, orderly and ready for service.
• Assist with yard, shop or jobsite tasks within your training and capabilities when driving assignments are complete.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL appropriate for the assigned vehicles
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Commercial driving experience; experience with dump trucks, roll-off trucks or similar vehicles is preferred.
• Construction, demolition or environmental services experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely maneuver at active jobsites and adapt to road, weather and site conditions.
• Dependable attendance, strong communication and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to understand and follow routes, work orders, safety procedures and written instructions.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Regular travel to project sites throughout Michigan.
• Work may take place outdoors in varying temperatures, weather conditions, noise levels and terrain.
• Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles, bend, stoop, kneel and move materials or containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and respiratory protection when applicable.
• Occasional work outside a typical daytime schedule may be required based on project needs.
