The JADCO Production Worker will have a background in the heavy industrial or metal manufacturing environment with a strong knowledge of quality and will enjoy working in a shop that appreciates a sense of humor.

What will I do?

• Operate overhead crane to load, unload and position material using lifting magnets, chains and/or straps.
• Study blueprints, layouts, sketches, and/or travelers to assess product specifications and drawing instructions, tools and materials needed, and sequences of operations.
• Compute dimensions, tolerances, and angles of steel products or machines, according to specifications and knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols.

Job Qualifications & Requirements: High school degree or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge and ability to safely use equipment and tools. Perform basic measurements. Regularly perform physical labor. Follow and communicate written and oral instructions. Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is helpful. Machine operation experience in a production environment is preferred.
