Job Title: Level II Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Med Surg experience License: Client RN License Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry Experience Description: The Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. This role requires an understanding of clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research. The Level II Registered Nurse may assume expanded responsibilities, which can include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties. Telemetry experience is required for this position. The nurse must maintain a current Client RN license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. The nurse should also possess NIHSS certification. Two years of Med Surg experience is essential for this role.
