Shifts: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM; every other weekend, may include some holidays


Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Behavioral Health for a travel assignment in Sharon, CT. This role involves working in a psych unit for geriatric adults within a 78-bed general hospital setting. The position requires a blend of medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing skills to manage patients with medical comorbidities. Candidates with experience in dementia care, depression, and other psychiatric conditions are preferred.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• Facilitate therapeutic groups for geriatric adults with psychiatric conditions
• Manage both voluntary and involuntary patient statuses
• Implement medical psych protocols, including restraints and seclusion
• Provide total care for patients with dementia, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder

Requirements of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• Current CT-RN license
• Crisis Management Training Certification from CPI or Northwell (minimum of 6-hour course)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 2+ years of experience in psychiatric nursing
• 5 years of experience preferred, especially with geriatric and dementia care
• Experience in med/surg nursing is helpful
