Furniture Installer $18 an hour Birmingham, AL Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Furniture Installer to join their growing team. If you have a passion for building and creating, a strong work ethic, and a knack for problem-solving. Position Responsibilities: Transform spaces by expertly installing and assembling a variety of furniture, including desks, chairs, workstations, and more. Ensure each installation is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Prepare for installations by verifying orders, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing job sites. Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations, making necessary adjustments and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on job sites and in the warehouse. Provide exceptional customer service and product demonstrations as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and successful installations. Work in the warehouse when not out installing or making deliveries. To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have: Experience in furniture installation, carpentry, HVAC installation, furniture delivery, or a related field a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints. Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 pounds) alone or with assistance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. General Computer knowledge. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to learn and perform safety requirements. At our clients' request, only individuals with required experience will be considered.
