Lead Infant Teacher

Overview Create a safe and nurturing environment for infants. Serving Ages 6 weeks to 15 months Job Description Infant teachers create a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age‑appropriate milestones. The ideal candidate will be a patient, caring, nurturing individual who enjoys teaching young children and is able to lift up to 30 pounds. You will demonstrate good judgment in daily routines with each infant in your care, provide verbal interactions with infants throughout the day in addition to play activities, manage the child's feeding schedule with bottles and solids, create lesson plans with goals specific to each child, communicate daily with families about their child’s day, goals for their child, and any other important information, and arrange the classroom and provide materials that are age appropriate and satisfy Indiana Licensing Requirements and NAEYC standards. Hours The hours for this position will be 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with an hour lunch break. The Ideal Candidate 21 years old or older Pass a background check and drug screen Have a CDA, Technical Certificate, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
