HTS is currently seeking a dedicated speech language pathologist to join our team on a part time or consistent prn basis at our partner senior living community in rushville, indiana. Job details:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on resident needs
• Provide speech therapy treatments and interventions to residents
• Prepare and maintain accurate progress notes, recertification documentation, and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Complete documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Discharge residents from therapy when goals are achieved or as appropriate

Skills and qualifications:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification as a speech language pathologist
• Proven experience working with senior populations preferred
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of documentation standards and compliance requirements

Requirements:

Applicants must have an active indiana speech language pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn indiana license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam. Applicants must hold certificate of clinical competence or be supervised as a clinical fellow prior to attaining cccs.
