We are currently seeking an experienced high volume Laundry Attendant for the AM Shift - 8:30am - 5pm weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Use cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Adhere to all Health Department, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Separate soiled bed linen/terry/food and beverage table linens; bundle and document amounts of each bundle.
• Operate all laundry machines and add designated chemicals in accordance with specified amounts, times and temperatures for the particular articles to be washed.
• Operate the ironing and folder machines. Check the cleanliness and condition of articles while processing through the machines; separate damaged/stained articles.
• Issue clean table linens and service towels/rags to Food and Beverage personnel.
• Document and process guest requests for laundry, dry cleaning and pressing of garments, hotel uniforms and designated management garments.
• Pick up laundry from guestrooms; communicate with guest regarding their laundering needs.
• Apply guest charges for dry cleaning/laundry to their guest room account.
• All other laundering duties requested by Housekeeping Department management.

Requirements

• Work experience as a Laundry Attendant or Housekeeper
• Must be able to work 8:30AM - 5PM shift
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Good physical health and stamina
• Flexibility with schedule, must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Pay: $17.00/hour.
