OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Representative is a strategic business partner that will haveresponsibilities for leading key HR initiatives, providing safety/training and development, andpolicy execution for all levels of the facility. The position will also have direct responsibility forleading payroll, disability processes, managing the plant's uniform vendor and overseeing theHRIS process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Administer annual compensation changes and employee reward/incentive payments Administer and lead FMLA, Disability and Leaves of Absence cases in partnership withthe General Mills Disability Center. Serve as a local subject matter expert for leaveprocesses. Manage and lead the Internal Job Bidding process. Manage and support employee orientation Support annual HR processes including Affridge Action Planning, Benefits OpenEnrollment, Data Validation, Engagement Survey Administration, and other initiatives. Maintain employee personnel files and documentation in compliance with Global Internal Audit standards. Provide day-to-day HR customer service to all plant employees, including researchingand resolving questions or issues. Provide support to Plant HR Team Manage and support employee retirement prep/celebrations, separations, checklists, andunemployment claim administration. Provide leadership for HR process improvements. Support other duties, plant and function initiatives as needed Lead and coordinate safety and training and development initiatives Foster a strong working partnership with all functions to support plant objectives. Develop short- and long-term strategies to drive organizational effectiveness,productivity, and improvements in key metrics. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Education Proven experience in HR working with all levels of the organization Strong positive employee relations skills Strong leadership skills including the ability to implement change and resolve conflict Ability to create and lead strategic initiatives Demonstrated understanding of fundamental HR competencies. Good analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving andtrouble-shooting skills. Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft based applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Publisher, Access), Visio, and SharePoint; with a willingness to learn andmaster other software programs as needed Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on attention to detail andaccuracy. Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills - ability to prepare and analyzeHR reports, translate data into recommendations and take appropriate action to achievedesired business results. Ability to lead and manage projects independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate or BA/BS Degree Preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, andchange Experience in Workday and Workbrain Demonstrated understanding of technology and ability to create solutions to technicalchallenges Strong conceptual skills and ability to implement change Sound analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving andtrouble-shooting skills Ability to plan, lead, and execute strategic initiatives in a complex environment Mature approach to challenging situations and environments

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this position is: $57,700 - $79,500 Annual At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
