Hotside / Coldside Commercial & Residential Appliance Repair Field Service Technician

Mr. Appliance is hiring Hotside and/or Coldside Commercial & Residential Appliance Repair Field Service Technicians. Your Responsibilities As a Commercial Equipment Field Service Technician, you provide excellent customer service by troubleshooting home and commercial appliances. Diagnose and repair home appliances and commercial equipment such as ice machines, cooking equipment, walk‑in coolers/freezers, and standalone refrigerator coolers/freezers. Work on residential appliances including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, ranges, and microwaves. Provide cost estimates for repairs. Communicate effectively with customers so they understand the services needed. Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials. Collect payment for work performed. What You Need to Succeed Exceptional Customer Service : You are the face of the company and show empathy toward customers. Getting from Diagnosis to Solution : Explain what’s wrong and help customers understand needed actions. Quality of Work : Use critical thinking and problem‑solving skills so the job is fixed correctly the first time. Efficiency : Complete repairs quickly to meet customer needs. Punctuality and Reliability : Show up on time for appointments. Pride in the Details : Keep the work vehicle clean and organized, and enter accurate customer information. Ongoing Training : Research new equipment and take advantage of learning opportunities. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC Certification. One year or more of appliance repair experience is a plus. Benefits & Pay The pay range is $60,000 to $150,000 per year, plus bonuses and commissions. Compensation : Technicians are paid on a daily guarantee to start, eventually shifting to commission based on revenue (Negotiable). No nights or weekends.
