You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.20 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports. Observe and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
