Title: Cemetery Caretaker State Role Title: Trades Technician IV Hiring Range: $45,739 Pay Band: 4 Agency: Dept of Veterans Services Location: Suffolk Cemetery Agency Website: Recruitment Type: Agency Employee Only - A Job Duties Serve Virginia's veterans and their family members by ensuring they receive the benefits, support, quality care, and recognition they have earned through service and sacrifice. Minimum Qualifications Must be familiar with all cemetery grounds maintenance procedures and practices; to include all operations including section maps, pins and gravesite numbering system for laying out each site. Must be aware of preventative maintenance in relationship to the cemeteries light and heavy equipment including the operation of power hand tools, plastering, plumbing, and roof repairs and carpentry. Ability to lift/maneuver a 220-pound grave marker with the help of one additional person.
