Hospitality Supervisor

Position Summary Responsible for the supervision of all aspects of a high-volume food service operation. Duties include training and coaching staff, interacting with guests, and evaluating personnel, products, and equipment. This position maintains multiple concepts and oversees staff throughout the day, ensuring food production and service operations continue through weather or other emergency conditions. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate assigned staff and actively participate in food service activities, including preparation, handling, and service of food items across several concepts simultaneously. Provide hands‑on quality control and assurance of all made‑to‑order items (taste, presentation). Perform specific food preparation and service tasks based on business needs. Conduct routine store walkthroughs to identify business needs in merchandising, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and safety. Manage purchasing and inventory of all food, beverage, and supplies. Recruit, hire, schedule, train, and supervise all student employees. Enforce employee performance standards for attendance, productivity, conduct, and comportment. Coach and discipline non‑student and student staff during shifts. Train and enforce safety policies, practices, and procedures; ensure compliance with PCI Certification and Title IX. Address staffing shortages, operational issues, and performance concerns. Coordinate maintenance of all equipment and ensure necessary service records (credit‑card reader logs, temperature logs, equipment maintenance) are current. Maintain daily recordkeeping: shift summaries, POS reports, receipts, and invoice submissions. Provide operational insights and observations to management. Manage student payroll and timecard record keeping. Perform other duties as assigned and assist with production and service requirements as needed. Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent. Two years of supervisory experience in a food service operation. Knowledge of food service techniques, sanitation, and safety. Strong interpersonal abilities. Ability to multi‑task and self‑prioritize. Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing loads up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends. ServSafe Certified. Guest‑service passion and ability to work with diverse teams. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). Compensation Pay range: $20‑$25 per hour (based on experience). Additional compensation details are determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
