Client Services Representative

Steigerwald, Gordon & Koch (SGK) Wealth Advisors is an SEC-registered, independent boutique wealth advisory firm located in Leesburg, VA. We provide personalized financial planning and investment management services, developing tailored portfolios and strategies to help our clients meet their financial goals. We pride ourselves on delivering attentive, professional service and building long-term relationships with our clients.

We are seeking a Client Services Professional to support our team and provide excellent customer service to our clients. This individual will assist with day-to-day client requests, account administration, and office operations while working closely with our wealth managers, financial planners, and portfolio managers.

The ideal candidate is personable, professional, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with technology. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys helping people, managing administrative tasks, and working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting clients with account paperwork, scheduling meetings, and processing deposits and withdrawals.
• Facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
• Responding to client inquiries and coordinating routine service requests.
• Communicating trade-related client requests to portfolio managers and financial planners.
• Creating reports using Tamarac and AdvisorEngine.
• Maintaining accurate client records and coordinating follow-up activities.
• Assisting with special projects involving data entry, reporting, and client outreach.
• Handling sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred skills and qualifications include:

• Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional and personable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing needs.
• Comfort with technology and learning new software systems.
• Experience with Schwab Advisor Services, AdvisorEngine, Tamarac, and Constant Contact is a plus.

A degree or prior experience in finance is not required. Previous administrative, customer service, or financial services experience is helpful but not necessary. We are happy to invest in the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to serving our clients.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility on start time.
• Location: Leesburg, VA. This is a 100% in-office position.
