Clinician Care Coordinator

Location Salinas, CA (On‑Site) Schedule & Compensation Shift: Sunday to Thursday Full‑time, exempt position Reports to: Program Supervisor / Program Director Department: Family and Community Services Annual Pay Range: $70,928 - $75,000 (typical for Bay Area; may vary by location) Position Summary The Clinician (Care Coordinator Receiving Center) is responsible for screening and assessing all youth admitted to the center, providing therapeutic complex trauma‑informed interventions, working on the floor with youth, developing safety and service plans, training staff on plans, modeling and training child care worker staff on effective ways to engage and stabilize the youth, and liaising with county social workers, nurses, and other youth‑serving entities. Key Responsibilities Screens and assesses youth placed at the Center. Provides therapeutic interventions to youth in the Center. Develops safety and service plans for youth in the Center. Engages youth on the floor throughout shift. Trains, models and shadows Child Care Workers on plans. Liaises with county social workers and nurses. Documents services provided. Attends weekly individual and group clinical supervision meetings. Provides on‑call services as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Psychology. Current intern registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing (fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record, proof of auto insurance). Work Environment & Schedule On‑site role in Salinas, CA. Full‑time, exempt position. Physical Demands The position normally operates in a residential care setting.
