Team‑oriented culture that values safety, reliability, and professional growth. Job Summary Sales Center Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver ensures the smooth handling and delivery of products. The role involves receiving and organizing products, loading and unloading trucks, and making deliveries to customers or job sites as needed. While the primary focus is on warehouse duties, the role also includes occasional driving responsibilities. Major Responsibilities/Activities Order Processing and Fulfillment: Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup; assist in shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders; load trucks safely; organize and prioritize shipments; read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions; operate a forklift and/or pallet jack as needed, as certified. Driving and Delivery: Operate a delivery truck to transport non‑hazardous materials; perform pre‑trip inspections and report maintenance issues; check products for damage before loading; assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles; provide outstanding customer service; adhere to company policies and procedures while handling financial transactions. Inventory Management: Move inventory to designated spaces; sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins; mark materials with identifying information; assist in physical inventory counts; complete requisition forms to order supplies. Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers; follow escalation procedures for reporting and resolving issues; record any product damage during transit or unloading with detailed descriptions and photos if necessary. Qualifications High School Diploma. Capable of obtaining certification to operate power equipment. Valid DOT physical card and valid Class C driver’s license. Thorough understanding of DOT rules and regulations regarding hours of service. No DUI or license suspensions in the last 5 years. Essential Physical and Mental Functions Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Drive for prolonged periods. Lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat for loading/unloading assignments.
