Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver therapy interventions according to each patient's plan of care
Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
Support patient education and create home exercise programs
Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all interactions

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with the rehab team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for helping patients restore function and independence

Education

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices
Patient education and home exercise program development
Accurate documentation and medical record keeping
Infection control and safety procedures
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
