Job Summary Manager in Training – responsible for supporting the Store Manager in operations and administrative duties. Located in Lake Wales, Florida (Eagle Ridge Mall). Hourly pay $15.00. Responsibilities Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and overall operations. Consult in establishing action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling. Assume full store responsibility in absence of Store Manager. Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments. Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability. Direct staff to meet departmental standards and timelines. Report inventory movement and customer trends to Store Manager. Maintain quality customer service per the customer service manual. Perform general administrative duties and other delegated tasks. Promote and sell Hibbett’s merchandise and services. Uphold all policies, procedures, and standards per company manuals. Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise employees in Store Manager’s absence. Conduct interview, training, assignment, and problem resolution in line with company policies and applicable laws. Qualifications Experience working in retail (preferably footwear & athletic apparel). 1–3 years of customer service experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to assist in managing a team and maintain overall goals and profits. Self‑starter with initiative for important tasks.
