- Curriculum and Instruction:
- Support lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers
- Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment
- Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience
- Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support daily routines and transitions to promote a nurturing learning environment
- Support Lead Teachers in addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
- Family Communication:
- Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and acheivements
- Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Question: Do you have at least 6 units of ECE coursework? (Preferred)
- Question: Have you completed an Infant / Toddler ECE course? (Preferred)
