Job description:

Position Summary: Seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our fast-paced pharmacy team. The ideal candidate is licensed with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy, detail-oriented, highly organized, energized, self-motivated, and able to work cooperatively under direction from team leads, the Manager, and the PIC. This role supports safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service. Must be willing to be flexible with workflow changes, as this is a dynamic environment where we frequently adjust processes for greater efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, label, package, and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist pharmacists with medication inventory management, restocking, and expiration checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area following pharmacy policies and state/federal regulations.
• Adhere to current policies and procedures and remain up-to-date with changes.
• Be willing to flex with workflow changes and process adjustments aimed at improving efficiency.
• Follow directions from team leads, the Pharmacy Manager, and the PIC; escalate issues or questions as needed.
• Take initiative to support the team—anticipate needs, volunteer for tasks, and help maintain workflow during busy periods.
• Bring an energized, positive attitude; be self-motivating and proactive in solving problems and improving processes.
• Support workflow in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Participate in quality assurance, safety, and compliance activities.
• Other duties as dictated by business conditions or management directive.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license/registration with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy (per Pennsylvania law).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take instruction from supervisors.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude; energized, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to adapt to changing workflows and process improvements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling vials, labels, and small components.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary — commensurate with experience.

Pay range: $18.00–$23.00/hr.
