Assembly / Shop Hand

Location: Troy, OH
Pay: $18.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Assembly / Shop Hand to assist with a variety of production and shop duties. This position will involve assembling products, preparing and painting parts, material handling, delivery assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Job Responsibilities

Assemble products according to specifications.
Prepare parts by removing burrs with grinders, wiping down, and masking surfaces.
Assist with spray painting and finishing parts.
Move and position materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and racks.
Inspect parts to ensure quality before shipping.
Load and secure finished products for delivery.
Assist with deliveries using a 20-foot flatbed truck.
Perform deburring and general shop cleanup.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented.
Comfortable using grinders, spray guns, pneumatic tools, and basic hand tools.
Forklift and crane experience is a plus; training is available.
Valid Ohio driver's license.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, including a drug screen, for delivery responsibilities.
Ability to stand, lift, and move throughout the shop for the full shift.
