Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift - 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a newly established unit. The position requires the ability to monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias. The RN will work in a team setting with robust support staff and will float within their scope to meet facility needs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• SC RN license or compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
