If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for developing data platforms software on Unix operating system, using SQL Server and Oracle databases; develop reports using Tableau; perform data ingesting and processing using Informatica; work with large datasets of at least 10 TB (terabytes); develop large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata; manage the storage and processing of data using cloud technologies including Hadoop and Spark; provide a path to customer support for all Big Data systems by identifying opportunities to integrate, automate and optimize various aspect of data and reliability engineering areas; build interactive data visualization dashboards with existing and newly developed KPI/Metrics; create seamless integrations across various platforms, including Service Now, Jira, and MS Teams; monitor end user support and facilitate communication across work streams to measure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution; establish observability to measure metrics, traces, and logs; create observability dashboard and service level objectives (SLOs) in order to proactively avoid incidents in the environment; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; and conduct analysis to determine integration needs.
