Here, you will make an impact by:Conducting an in-depth review of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history, and physicals) based on billing criteriaCommunicating internally and externally to obtain missing clinical information required for placement and/or billing. This could include other Solventum employees, home health agencies, patients, hospitals/facilities, and physiciansMeeting production expectations based on department priorities, as well as sustaining critical service level agreements to ensure good continuity of the operationYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified before start) from an accredited institution and experience n a private, public, government or military environmentExperience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and emailAt least 1 year of experience in a KCI-related operationAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:WDT, WCC, or ACAT experience is a plusPrevious experience with IB and OB calls. The candidate may be required to take phone callsKnowledge of Wound Management principles, clinical documentation requirements, and medical terminology in generalKnowledge of US Healthcare Billing rules and regulationsKnowledge of the post-acute market, including Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Wound Care CentersBachelor’s degree or in-process studies in administration, engineering, or a healthcare-related fieldWork location: Hybrid-TexasCandidate must be able to travel to San Antonio, Texas, when requestedMust be legally authorized to work in a country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
